Welcome to the Safe Glow Project page! I’m Zill, a high school student that is passionate about health sciences and environmental advocacy.

I created the Safe Glow Project to delve into the hidden dangers in today's cosmetics as well as to gain insight on what is put into these cosmetics.
 

This initiative stemmed from personal curiosity and watching tons of skincare documentaries, but soon enough turned into a research and blog based page. From this research I was able to learn about the toxic chemicals like formaldehydes, synthetic fragrances present in cosmetics. I realized that there was little transparency on what is truly inside these products- especially for the everyday consumer that does not know where to start-
My goal for this project is to empower people of all ages into making safe choices for their bodies and for our plant. By providing information on decoding complex labels, safe alternatives, and recommending eye opening films on the cosmetic industry I hope to gain an understanding on this topic and continue to learn more and more beyond.
